Callie Juanita Bauguess

COURTESY ANNOUNCEMENT Callie Juanita Todd Shaw Bauguess, age 90, of Jonesville, NC passed away on March 25, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born on August 11, 1933, in Sparta, NC to the late Ernest Dowell Todd and the late Tressie Bedsaul Todd. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Dean Shaw; and siblings, Ernest Wayne Todd, Betty Jean Todd Atwood and Frances Todd Andrews. Juanita is survived by five daughters; Sandy and husband Bill, Glenda, Debbie and husband Jim, Stephanie and husband Philip, Tonya and husband Dennis and one son, Frankie; 11 grandchildren, Noelle, Allison, Savannah, Garrett, Randy, Josh, Simon, Emma, Krissy, Gabrielle and Isabella; 8 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Brayden, Luke, Rylan, Grant, Piper, Atlas and Logan; and one sister, Chris Todd Dancy and husband Roger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service for this strong and faithful lady will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Crab Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Ennice, NC. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 pm, in the Moody-Davis Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon’s International at PO Box 1891, Sparta NC 28675.
